Would you not date someone just because they have psoriasis?
I’ve always wondered if people would not date me just because I have psoriasis. I have have pretty soft skin but I have white spots from where the scars are. I’ve been told many times that I’m an attractive person by guys, but i always feel a little bit self conscious,especially in the summer wearing bikinis. I try not to let it bother me too much and have the confidence to wear 2 piece swim suits, but I think a lot of people would find it a turn off?

If its just white spots where it used to be, thats not to bad. Ive seen worse acne scarring. If you are beautiful on the inside it can outshine minor flaws. Thats a minor flaw sweetie…youre still a princess.

sweetie i have psoriasis and eczema and i have had quit a few girlfriends and boyfriends and now i am going to be getting married .. Most people don’t mind it or notice it they only do if you point it out … so good luck to you and i bet your beautiful don’t let your psoriasis become your identity

I am dating a man with psoriasis and it never ocurred to me that it should be a problem. Someone who is worth your time will not pay attention to it unless you do because they are looking at the whole picture of you not just a small part

I doubt it!!! As you said it yourself – " I’m an attractive person by guys, but i always feel a little bit self conscious,especially in the summer wearing bikinis." You are an attractive person. And whatever – so you have scars and sensitive skin. As long as you manage it, why would there every be an issue. And as far as the bathing suit season goes – there are so many sexy styled one pieces everywhere. If you don’t want to wear a two piece – there are other options. You have to feel comfortable in your own skin (literally) – that is what is a turn off to guys.

We all have our own flaws. Do not be discourage with your imperfections because everyone ain’t perfect. Who cares if you have psoriasis as long as you are not hurting or bothering others. What counts is your beautiful in the inside, that makes all the difference.

Whether you are a sexy blond or a chubby red head, an obese mongoloid or an athletic brunette, there will always be someone for you, it’s just a matter of finding the right one. And if someone says they cant date you because of your skin, or anything else they are not someone you want date anyway.

We all have our own little things we dont like about ourself, but dont let anything make you think that you are somehow un dateable.
I happen to have a very chubby face, ( i am a curvy girl, but not obese) and i always have had it. My baby pictures show a very skinny child but with a big head, chubby cheeks, and second chin. Im not sure why i have it always had and no diet has ever changed it. Any way, i am now currently engaged to a wonder man who is in love with not just me, but my chubby face!! He adores my face and finds it the cutest thing ever.

The point is you will find someone who will loves you not just for your good points, but your flaws too. And dont let anyone tell you otherwise

Anyone who would not date someone because they have psoriasis may not be worth considering in my opinion. My recommendation is not tell someone right away, so they can get to know the person and not label someone.

Even if you have flakes, I’ll still date you. In a date, the most important thing is the companionship… the company of another person. So pretty or not, it doesn’t really matter. It matters for childish adn immature people, though. But would you care for them?

Actually, there’s a lot of talk about psoriasis and sex life. Though most partners are supportive, there are few that are not. Also, if the psoriasis is in genitalia, then there will be a problem even if the two of you are supportive to each other.
